The Porch:
Three rounds for time of:
40 pound Dumbbells split clean, 15 reps
21 Pull-ups

Time - 24:50

I didn't have the dumbbells so I did 95# on the OLY. I also did hang squat cleans since I need to work those. Pullups ate my time! By the third round I was doing 2 and resting 30 secs.

I understand the feeling when you hit the wall and have to slow down the workout for a particular movement like you did for the pull ups. burpees used to kill me in this way. after two in a row i had to take 10-20 seconds before trying a few more. good job getting through the wod!

i wonder if it would be more beneficial to sub jumping pull-ups after you can't do anymore pull ups in order to maintain the pace for the metcon factor of the wod? not sure about this since as rx'd seems to be the goal, but i wonder if too much time between reps is not as productive.

Sometimes I sub, sometimes I push through. I really just go with my gut feeling. Sometimes I start off with a push-through attitude and scale down midway...

Anyway - I made it through. Thanks!
