Not better than my last (my 3rd ever) but better than my first 2. I think the 3rd was an anomaly. I'll do it again, but I don't feel defeated by this run either.
Thanks Steve. Everything about me and my world is perfect. HAHA!
The track is rubber composite. It's my old high school track.
The weather in North Alabama is nice. Sweet Home Alabama - "Where the skies are so blue" sings about this area. Muscle Shoals (hence the Shoals in my titles) has got the Swampers and they been known to pick a song or two...
15:00 minutes on the rower. Rolled it outside in the sun. 85 degrees. Felt great. Logged 101 calories - my rower doesn't count distance :( I am starting to feel refreshed and ready to jump back into the WODs. I almost did yesterday's - but made myself wait. I'll get in after the next rest day. Oh, I still feel the swim!
" Fight Gone Bad! " Three rounds of: Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps) Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps) Box Jump, 20" box (Reps) Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps) Row (Calories) In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point. Score 196.7PR! AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!! Wanted 200. Must push harder! The box jumps felt better than ever as did the push presses.
WOD "Cindy" Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of: 5 Pull-ups 10 Push-ups 15 Squats 9 rounds - tied PR. Back up from 7! Now this is worth patting myself on the back. Head cold has me blowin phlegm throughout. I will break 10 next time! I also did all rounds of 5 pullups unbroken. My kip is starting to improve.
