Hang squat clean 3-3-3-3-3-3-3 reps

45# - 45# - 45# - 55# - 65# - 75# - 75#

Not bad. At these weights I feel like it's difficult to avoid using the arms! I felt best at the higher weight - when I really concentrated on form. The main problem I had was getting under quickly. I need more and more work on my squat flexibility. I thought the actual catch was not bad when I did get down quickly enough. I noticed that, without really thinking about it, I had caught the bar on my front delts. Thanks to the visual cues of Starting Strength!

It was a bit painful to drop the weight back to my thighs. I need to check my form on that portion of the movement.

We got snow today! This time last week it was 76 degrees. The lilies are at 8 inches. Time for spring.

Thanks for the encouragement on coming back :) I had some issues but I'm back--as evidenced by the sore thighs that don't let me sit down properly today....silly filthy fifty for puppies. What type of puppies??? Pitbull puppies on crack? Anyhow I digress....
