WOD

Complete as many rounds in twenty minutes as you can of:
65 Pound Thruster, 10 reps
10 Pull-ups

5 Rounds

Scaled weight to 45#. Used mix of jumping, band assisted, and real pullups. This is the first time I've done pullups in a while. My elbows have improved dramatically. It was also noticable that I was carrying 15lbs less. So - with that I was pleased.

I know the numbers were low. I also didn't do this last night - as I had said I would.

New goal - get more sleep. Once finals are over this will be easier. We are at the wire. It's 85 degrees again. Summer is knocking on the door.

Screw the weight. Form and attention to injury are more important in the long run. What good is it for you if you do a 65lb thruster today, and then have to sit out a week cause your elbow won't heal? Finals? Dang... I remember those... they suck! You have fun with that... :P

From the professor side - finals are easy! I've been playing a ton of spider solitaire while my victms suffer!!!!!

I agree with the weight. I really could have pushed through some more reps on this one though. I got a good night's sleep last night. This has been an issue for a couple of weeks.

I might tweak my diet some too - I think I need a few more calories.

Remind me of that in August. :)

I'm still waiting to hear the pitter patter of summer's feet... SOL's in 3, end of school in about 6. Ugh! Freakin' Old Dominion Law!
