WOD

The Porch:
For time:
Five rounds for time of:
115 pound Squat clean, 7 reps
15 Handstand push-ups

Time - 23:10

HSPU, first round were feet on door gym - very tough. The rest were on the stairs. I had to take a lot of 2 min breaks. The cleans were all from the floor. Several were with what felt like good form. I can tell that the snatches from the other day gave me a couple of "clicks." I am aware of the bar and where it is in space. I am pulling myself down with the bar. Very nice. Very exhausted!

Learning where the bar is in space is a crucial part of doing your moves correctly. Constantly having to look for it, or try to be aware of it really slows you down. The sixth sense is what you need in order to keep progressing. Nice work. HSPU are still a weakness for me. I am deathly afraid of slamming my head into the floor.

I had to go to a headstand to get down! Just the change in angle to vertical (I supported myself and used my legs to take weight off of my shoulders) made a HUGE difference in difficulty.

Brad - I think we need some pics of these HSPU's :)
Have a great weekend!
Nice work. I was drenched after this workout. I was happy I got all 7 cleans on the first round right in a row. I don't think I've ever done more that 5 in a row.

Kim - I know I need to post pics. I am so handsome that I surely will have an increase in readers - HA!

Splint - I like doing sets of these like that too. It drills the technique.
