Still Resting

I swam a few laps this morning. Yesterday evening, I iced my ankle/Achilles tendon. Feels better. I really was beat up by Elizabeth! My hams are still tight.

I've been tasking all morning. I have a student who recently contacted me regarding her son. He has been diagnosed with classic autism. Trying to get resources together so she can tackle this challenge God has given her is very frustrating. There are a lot of ideas that keep turning out to be empty roads. Please help me pray for her and her family.

2x50 with 10 seconds rest
2x100 with 15 seconds rest
2x200 with 20 seconds rest
2x100 with 15 seconds rest
2x50 with 10 seconds rest
4x25 with 5 second rest

Lather, rinse, repeat after 2 minute rest... 3-2-1 GO! :)

Pyramid should be done at 80-85%

If you do two round of the pyramid, it should take roughly 40minutes-an hour depending on pace... if you do two rounds it'll be 2400 yards. :) Have fun!

Hi Brad - found your blog through Katie's and low and behold, you're from the same neck of the woods as my family. I've got family in Wayne County as well as right there in Florence. Great people down there...especially when it comes to pulling together as a community to help each other out. Your student and her son will be just fine if they continue to reach out to their friends and family for love, support and prayers. God's got a plan...it just isn't always the same as ours.

Given that there are like, five last names in Wayne County, we're probably distance cousins. Pigg, Quiqley, Wallace, and Olive are a few of the family names I'm related to...Olives are in Florence - used to do all the schools' class pictures.

I do know Olive's studio. They did great airbrush work to cover my teenage acne!

AMRAP in 10 minutes 100m sprint (25m out n back x2) 10 situps 10 supermans 5 rds + 50m Did this in the school basket ball/ volleyball gym. I was able to be barefoot on the wooden court. Very comfy. I had a little twinge in my back from carrying this front-loaded fat vest but it's way better than it has been.

AMRAP in 10:00 5 DL @ 215lbs 5 Burpees 5 Squat Cleans @ 105lbs 5 Burpees Total - 4 rounds huffing and puffing. Thanks to Charles for giving me this one on FaceBook. His suggested weights were 300 on the DLs and 185 on the cleans. I knew better than to try that! HA! Warmed up with OHS and pigeons. The OHS stuff with the bar and not PVC - time to be a big boy!
